  • This is my usual menu.

Just about every day, I will eat 2 eggs. So that is the standard.

For lunch, I normally have 1.5 cups of salad, with 1 tbsp of ranch dressing

For second break at work, I will have another 1.5 cups of salad. 1tbsp ranch.

(Most times, those are actually less than 1.5 cups, since I can't always finish them.)

When I get home, I snack on 2 pieces of string cheese, and 2 bunless hot dogs, if I'm too busy to eat well. Sometimes, I'll steam a large flouret of brocolli, with 2-3 servings of velveeta cheese melted on top. Other times, I'll brown about 2 cups of hamburger meat, and sprinkle some grated cheese.

Throughout the day, I will have 4-5 20 oz bottles of water, and occasionally, if it is available, I'll have 1-2 sodas. Diet Rite, or (more recently) Diet Dr Pepper.

Though, sometimes, not often, I have strayed off plan (work related) and I hit the vending machine, for either a bag of peanuts, or a bag of pork rinds. I'm not the biggest fan of pork rinds, since they are incredibly bland. But, I love peanuts. I really should wait until I get to that rung, but sometimes, I can't help it.

So yeah, my menu is kinda boring. Need to spice it up. But, don't really need to. I don't live to eat, I eat to live.

    Hi Ska!

Pork Rinds are within the plan even in induction. The Peanuts as you know should wait, but the most important thing is to watch the portions...I know nuts are very hard to control for me! Looks good though!

Make sure you check the ingredients list of the velveeta to make sure it contains no 'illegal' ingredients!

It appears to have 3 grams of carb per ounce too!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
