    ok, first off id like to say this site is great inspiration, i think i know pretty much everything i need to know about the induction period except one thing...veggies.

    my first two days i never touched veggies, and kept it a strict scrambled/boiled eggs, bacon, and sausage as well as tuna. well then today i read you needed two cups of veggies a day, i must have skipped over this part.will eating the vegetables help me lose weight faster? what vegetables should i be eating?

    also what percentage of fat/protein/carbs should i be eating to reach my maximum weight loss?

    and yes, veggies are a vital part of this way of life..

    Do you have Dandr? (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution)..its a must read.

      Please buy the book, there's a link at the bottom for great deals from Amazon. Until then, read the stickies in the forums. Veggies help you go to the bathroom. They provide vital nutrients. They support a healthy varied diet. It's three cups, bte. Check out the induction forum and please read the stickies. You will be much more successful. It's not just about losing weight, it's your health.

        Yup, everyone's giving you great advice.

        3 cups of salad veggies a day OR 2 cups of salad veggies and 1 cup of other veggies per day.

        Don't fall for the all fat and meat way of thinking that a lot of people think of this WOE! I've never eaten healthier. Good luck and read the book!
