  • 1 week down & no weight loss, can you review my menu?

I have been on Induction now for 9 days and don't think I've lost anything more than a pound. I may have too much protein in my menu. Can you help me out?
Breakfast - 3 scrambled eggs, 2 small sausage patties
Lunch- hamburger patty, lettuce tomatoe slices and 3 tablespoons mayo
Dinner- chicken breast and drumstick slathered in olive oil w/1/2 cup brocoli and butter
What am I doing wrong? Is there anything more I can be doing? Oh yeah, and I've been backed up for 6 days. I've tried every suggestion for it, to no avail. Drinking tons of water

Well do the patties have any added sugar on them?
Are you measuring and getting all our veggies every day?
Drinking your 64 fl oz of water?
you might want to go to www.fitday.com and enter all that you eat and drink every day to check your fat/protein/carbs ratio

Yikes. Being "backed up for 6 days" is not good! Have you tried Fleets enema? Not a pleasant thing, I know. But it saved me once or twice when things were just not working properly!
Other than that the only thing I would suggest is spreading out your veggies more. Can you work some spinach or broccoli or something into your egg scramble in the morning?

Hey there! Remember that Induction is 2 weeks and it's usually a good idea to weigh only at the end. I know it's tough, but the weight loss is not linear...chin up!

You might want to watch out for tomatoes. Those are certainly higher in carbs than other veggies. Also, I'm not sure how much lettuce or salad veggies you are eating, but it seems like you aren't getting enough veggies in.

I'd bet you're getting enough fat as most of the foods you mentioned are pretty fatty and you've been adding mayo or olive oil.

Have you tried Fitday? Take a look and see if that helps you more closeley track your fat/protein/carb ratios and all that fun stuff!
