  • my average menu

    hello,

    i and my husband are both on the atkins, we were making some mistakes before so starting again.this will be our average week menu.

    Breakfast - eggs - hard boiled eggs,omlettes,fried.
    Hve a question here - can we have iced tea with no sugar/ sugar free drink mixes which have 0 carbs.

    Lunch - vegetables - since we are indian we have alot of indian made veggies like cauliflower , mushrooms, eggplant,cabbage.
    Or - Caesar salad.

    Dinner- Sausages , pork patties,chicken wings (tysons-non bredded) , prawns .

    Also trying to have 8 glasses of water.

    What else do i need to include - i know we are not having much veggies - i can include a salad bowl with a little bit of caesar dressing .

    Thanks and would appreciate your inputs.

    After 3 weeks - 130

    MY GOAL WEIGHT - 120

    Hi Sanam, be careful of sausages, patties and wings. Read labels carefully making sure they don't have added sugars and carbs. Try to have some fat and protein with your lunch.

      Desert. What do u recommend we should eat for proteins also we dont eat beef.

        chicken, fish, eggs and cheese all have protein in them.

        Your veggies should be spread out over the day, so try to have some with each meal if you can.

        When we eat veggies we are supposed to have some fat/protein with them to lessen blood sugar spikes, so have some dressing with the veggies or add some grated cheese melted on top, or cook them in butter/oil/ghee etc.

          all the sausage ,patties have 0 carbs . yes with all the sausages will make sure we have veggies as well....thanks ...
