  • Back for another review...

Ok, well many responded on my first thread about my eating habits, but i'm back for attack and have changed drastically (in my opinion) and would like more feedback on my new menus:

    Breakfast:
2 fried eggs with 4 slices of bacon.

*sometimes i dont eat anything b/c i am not hungry (but i know not to go 6 waking hours without eating), but will drink about 2 liters of water before lunch

    Lunch:
1 pork chop, cheeseburger, 1/2C. cucumbers
-or- chicken salad (grilled chix with mayo & little onion) on a 2 cups of lettuce/cucumber (w/oil & vin) mix

    * for lunch i usually just have whatever is left over from the night before (meat wise) and try to add veggies to the mix

    Dinner:
1 1/2 pork chops (crusted with parm. cheese & fried), 3/4 deviled egg halves, 1/2C. cucumbers (w/ oil & vin)

    * dinner i have some type of meat with the remaining or so of veggies needed for the day (broccoli steamed with butter, cucumbers, or salad).

    Snacks:
very rarely do i eat one, but if i do, i make the "cheese its" in the micro (cheddar cheese cut into blocks & cooked) with 10 slices of peperoni on top
    -or- 1 mozz string cheese.

    * I was eating pork rines (1/2 $0.99 bag at a time), but i think it was too much salt, so i stopped

    Drinks:
*i have a 16 oz Cup of decaf coffee (w/ 2 plenda & 1 creamer) once/twice a week & about 2 cups (for the week overall) of the Crystal light Rasberry drink.
*i drink about 4-6 Liters of water a day & pee like crazy haha

Also, with my cheeseburger, i grew fond of having a pickle with it. It says on the jar that for 2 pickles slices (the sandwhich stacker type - so they are not pickle halves & are kind of small) its like 1 carb for 2 - i do forget so i am saying this off the top of my head, but i am only eating one of those pickles with the cheeseburger, is this not a good idea?

Anyways, just want to check again to make sure i am on the right track. I appreciate all help!

Looks great Courtney! Are you feeling more satisfied now? Don't worry too much about the pickles (as long as they're dill) those are usually ok. I used to have those as a snack all the time!! Good work! Let us know how your next weigh-in goes!

BTW, noticed you made a lot of life changes recently (i.e. smoking and drinking). How did you quit smoking? I'm looking into it myself!

I am definately satisfied and honestly, i couldnt he happier, i feel healthy already! im a little unsatisfied with the amount of weight that i lossed (i thought it would have been more) but im definately not giving up -- i've changed so much already and love me new way of eating. i will make sure they are dill too, i am not sure what they are, but will check before i eat them. thanks for your help again.

I went on the nicoderm patches -- i stopped in January, i've smoked a few times since (would buy a pack and smoke 3, then throw them out).. its my own weeknesses giving in... but the patches are great.. 3 steps, and i am not on step 1 (even after smoking those few ciggs)... the patches are expensive though, but if you go to a bulk store (i got to BJ's) you get more in a box, usually for a cheaper price... good luck and let me know how you do!
