  • Please Review My Menu!

    This is what I have planned out for tommorow:

    Breakfast:
    2 Eggs
    Water

    Lunch:
    2 Boiled Eggs
    Water

    Dinner:
    2 Porkchops
    Water

    and probably a salad for lunch or something.

    I strongly suggest you get a copy of DR ATKINS NEW DIET REVOLUTION 2002 edition and read it. It will be the best $7 you invest in yourself.

    Then you will know your menu is not Atkins. we are to eat 3 cups of low glycemic Atkins induction acceptable veggies a day as a part of our Atkins.

    So you need some veggies some protein and some fat at every meal. Also we eat only enough food to satisfy our hunger at the time we are eating so 2 porkchops with your veggies may be more food then you need for that purpose but only you can tell at the time you are eating how much you need. the beauty of the Atkins plan is if you get hungry again you can eat again as often as you do.

      Glad you joined and posted cause it looks as if your doing what you think is an Atkins diet. Lots of folks do that, and some even think that if they do low fat, low carb they will lose twice as much, twice as fast. Unfortunately, they end up stalled out and wonder why and then blame Atkins.
      First of all, just for the health of it, we need a variety of foods, so your meals should include protein, fat and carbs in the form of natural foods (nothing in a bar or shake or package) And those meals should be heavy in the fat department. Good fats mind you.
      Now eggs are a great source of both protein and fat, but they lack the variety that is necessary for health and Dr Atkins really pushes health.
