  • Getting Frustrated :0

    Hi all,

I've been doing pretty good going back into induction to finally get to goal, but I have been stalling at around 145 give or take a lb. It's frustrating because I haven't had a cheat day at all...I have been behaving better this time around then last time. :P

    http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJ...Owner=Raszagil

I've been very good about plugging in everything I have eaten, there were two days or so in the beginning that I skipped lunch because I was just not hungry, but I have stopped doing that these last few weeks. And other then some Crystal Light here and there, I have stayed away from diet drinks and any processed "low carb" food or goodie.

    Here's my standard day:

Breakfast: Two eggs, scrambled with one ounce ham and one slice of cheese.
Lunch: Salad, two cups of romaine, an ounce of ham and an ounce of shredded cheese
ranch salad dressing, about two tablespoons.
Dinner: one cup broccoli and one cup beef fried (think stir fry without the sauces)

I mix it up a bit, like yesterday I had cheesy cauliflower and one chicken breast, and because I made some for my sister that she didnt eat, I had the same thing this morning for breakfast. :P

Please tell me what I am doing wrong, because both my carbs and calories (trying to watch those too since I am so near goal of 135) are near on the money, so I don't have a clue.

***On a side note, I do plan on going on to maintanance here when I hit 135, I want to actually get 130 so I have a 5 lb wiggle room, as Perry suggested somewhere on the other forums.

      Heya

I'm on extended induction right now. I haven't been losing for a few weeks so heading into maintanance seems counter-productive right now, and I want to get to 135 before I start experementing. :P

Ooooh, I think you should start moving up the rungs. Try the first one, it's sooo easy - simply add a little more veggies to your diet.

I might add that your body sometimes slows down in order to "get used" to the "new you". At this point you may want to measure yourself. You'll be amazed at the results.

          Hi there

New this time round, but old hat at the atkins. After looking at your fitday it seems you are averaging about 1700 calories a day. As you near target, perhaps you should consider lowering that and like everyone else says progress onto owl , include more veggies. That should help cut down your calories just a little. Sure you will see a drop after that.

Are you exercising? Last time I was on Atkins I did not take exercising seriously. This time I am and the pounds are coming off much easier. Also from my understanding the closer you are to goal the slower the pounds come off.

I think I will, makes sense my cals are too high, with the meat and cheese. More salad and greens for me looks like is the plan.

Oh, and yes I do excersize (oooo I HATE it!), I bought a bunch of belly dancing DVDs, and I am learning that. I knew if I just tried regular excercize I would never make it, but if I am doing something fun I could probably keep at it.

Going to need to find the OWL list for more veggies.
