  • Please check my menu

Hi- I'm nearing the last two days of my Induction and so far had a loss of 10 pounds however the 10 pounds came off within the first week and I have stalled ever since I have stayed totally cheat free, added exercise and increased my water from 68 fl oz to 102 fl oz daily. I'm not sure if there's something in my diet that needs tweeking.

This is a general diet for the week- it doesn't differ to much from day to day.

B--2-3 srambled eggs (Pam for the pan)
sometimes if I'm hungry I will add 2 strips of bacon

L--1 cup raw veggies such as broccoli, celery, and cucumber with 2 tbsp. ranch dressing (sour cream mixed with packet of ranch seasoning)

    OR

1 90% lean hamburger with a melted slice of cheddar cheese and 1 cup salad greens

Snack--I am rarely hungry for but if I am I have a couple slices of cheddar cheese and a small handful of pepperoni

D--Meat (usually chicken, steak or porkchop) grilled with a few seasonings. 1 cup salad greens and if I didn't have the cup of raw veggies at lunch I will make 1 cup of cooked veggies such as broccoli+cauliflower or green string beans with butter.

    Re: Please check my menu

It looks good Roxy, but the best way to lose weight on this plan is to eat a protein at every meal and also some fat and some carbs, Your breakfast should have included some veggies, salsa on your eggs, a slice of tomato, mushrooms, even a few onions.

Lunch should be something like taco salad or tuna salad or egg salad with some more of the veggies

    Same for dinner.
Keep each meal at 65 % fat, 30 % protein and 5 % carbs. You can track your meals on fitday.com

Yep you shiould be having some protein some fat and some of thise veggie carbs at every meal so you fuel up efficiently on your Atkins ratios every time you eat. So whilke the total food looks good for a day your timing of eating it isn't good.
