  • Hmmmm Maybe Im eating too much?

    Breakfast -
    3 egg omlette with sausage peppers and onions
    Side of Bacon
    2 8oz glasses of water

    Lunch -
    half lb tuna salad with celery

    Dinner -
    Steak and eggs

    ----------------------

    Breakfast -
    3 eggs scrambled with cheese

    Lunch -
    1/4lb Turkey
    small garden salad with some broccli florets

    Dinner -
    Steak and eggs (how orginal)

    -----------------------

    Breakfast -
    Cheese stick and water (i was in a rush)

    Lunch -
    Steak and small garden salad

    Dinner -
    3/4ths lb of roast beef
    ---------------------------------------

    These are just random days from my last week. Also I'll snack on a cheese stick or some roasted chicken thats left over (with no sauce/garnishments) at night sometimes.

    I drink anywhere between 1-3 gallons of water a day, maybe too much but I think I am addicted.

    you need more veggies more often some at every meal!

        Hi Linx,

        I agree with Heidi, more veggies (Induction amounts) throughout the day.

        About the quantities of food...it's hard to tell because some of the meals don't include "how much" ... like the steak and eggs.

        And how are you feeling when you're eating the food...are you eating to clean your plate, to get that stuffed feeling or eating just enough to feel satisfied?

          Enough to feel satisfied.

          Id say like an 8oz steak with 3 scrambled eggs.

          I run/jog a mile a day and work 14 hour days so I work it off, but I still feel like i might be eating too much. I always feel satisfied, not stuffed.

            Thats great, then work on spreading the veggies and make sure you're eating all 3 cups (if you're in the Induction phase).

            Are you losing? Or if you haven't weighed yet, how do you feel?

              I feel fantastic, very healthy and I weight in the middle of the week and looks like im down by about 5, everyone says I look much slimmer too so... IDK.

              I use the Keto sticks and sometimes they will be purple, other times they will show no read at all.

                      only you know if you are eating too much or not. On Atkins we feed our hunger every time we eat unless we are forced to use the 6hr rule so each time we eat the amount of food we need will be different. eat only enough to satisfy your hunger not your I wants nor the room in your belly. if you need to leave food on the plate do so. the easiest way to do it is to fix what you think you need and eat 1/2 of it and stop get up and leave in 5 min if you are still hungry go abkc and eat more if not you can save it for later. As soon as you get hungry you can eat again on Atkins unlike other weight loss plans.

                      some days you will be very hungry and other your appetite will be so suppressed you will be using the 6 hr rule to eat a small protein/fat and carb snack at meal time cause you jsst aren't hungry.
