  • How's it look??

    Hey All! Here I am.....ready to bare my menu for all to see! Please be kind........

    I just moved on to OWL, so I've added an extra cup of veggies. I've noticed that my percentages have changed. As of today, my percentages are 61/7/32....my carbs have increased to 26, but I also have 6 grams of fiber in there. I read the sticky from not2late about how, in OWL, you want to see your fat decrease, but your protein will stay the same (at least I think that's what I read). Anyway, thanks for looking it over and letting me know if I'm on track! I'm drinking my 80 oz of water daily and running 3 miles a day 5-6 days a week. Have a good weekend!

    your foods look good
    is that .12 cups 2tablesppons?
    our fat percent will come down slightly as we add back the carbs like you are more veggies to your salad but use the same amopunt of dressing same for your dinner servings and stuff. by the time you are ready for premanintenance you are down to about 60%.

      YAY!! Thank you, thank you!!!! I'm so happy I'm doing this right! Yep, that 0.12 c is actually about 2 Tablespoons, but for some reason on Fitday, on certain items, it only gives me the option of cups and not teaspoons, tablespoons, etc.

        yep then you got to convert. good job there too.

        are you feeding only your hunger or are you easting the same amount all the time from habit? if you are feeding your hunger then you are going fine if you are eating cause you had the same thing yesterday for breakfast then you are not doing right

          Actually, I really enjoy what I'm eating, so I tend to eat basically the same thing for breakfast and lunch and only change my foods up at dinner time. I had a really hard time in the beginning because I never ate breakfast before. I never snack because I'm just not hungry and although I may not be hungry when I eat lunch or dinner, I only eat until I am satisfied and never stuff myself. Does this sound okay? Thank you for helping me along on this!!

            sounded good until you got to that last part.

            if you are not hungry at lunch then just have a small protein/fat snack with some of your veggie carbs like cheese with some veggie strips or a dip with them. Then if you aren't hungry by dinner time do the same. this is Dr Atkins 6 hr rule never go more then 6 hrs without eating but if you aren't hungry and it is 6 hrs then have a small snack of protein/fat with some of your carbs ( veggies for inductees and rung one OWLers). When you get hungry you can eat even if it is one hour later.
