    hi everyone, im not new to this way of eating but i sure have been gone for awhile and realized this is the best way for my body, i would love to post my menus here daily to see how they look to you all who have been doing this longer, and since i did not do it right the first two times around i want to make sure i do it just by the book. I find myself hard to not go over 20 carbs when im planning my menus i want to add more veggies at dinner, i also have given up diet coke which is huge for me but im really trying to see what works for my body, i have been eating sb for the last month and could not lose not one pound and i have been excercising my butt off. I am giving up cheese as well i think it is a problem for me, i get bloated and my face stays broke out but i went to a cleaner version last time i did atkins and that is the one thing i gave up and wow i started losing and face cleared up and no more gas it was awesome but i also gave up the bacon and sausage in the morning, which i have not done that this time around yet, i really think it was the cheese. well here is my menu for today

    bfast-4 scrambled eggs in butter, 2 turkey sausage links, 1 6oz cup of coffee i know that is a no no for induction but caffeine does not throw make me crave i had it with hc and splenda and im use to drinking 2-3 cups in the morning, being a stay at home mom and getting up to get the kids off to school i just drink away so im limiting myself to 1 cup.

    lunch-2 cups of salad, topped with cucumbers, 4 cherry tomatoes, and a roasted chicken breast with blue cheese dressing.

    dinner-baked salmon topped with a little mayo, roasted green beans.

    my total calories were 2013
    fat=69%
    carbs=4%
    protein=27%

    water intake is about 12 8oz glasses i drink out of this 32oz bottle which i make sure i drink at least 3 a day but some days i will do 4. I also excercise on a regular basis. I really want this to work, i want to feel better about myself and be a better role model to my kids.

    Hi - just looking at 2 things here -
    1. The induction veggie lists allow 2 cups salad veggies -OK
    and 1 cup other. Is is safe to assume that if you measured your tomatoes & green beans they are 1C or less? It helps to keep measurements of all the foods, including toppings, sauces, butter, dressings etc. which you haven't listed.

    But since you've got your %'s I'm assuming you did enter all this in someplace such as fitday.com.

    For day 2, this looks ok, in a couple more days you should find yourself eating less because your appetite diminshes when you get into ketosis.

      Hi, actually i thought as long as you did not go over 20 net carbs you could have your veggies, and in fitday i have 2 cups of romaine lettuce, 1 cup of sliced cucumbers but i only did a half that turned out to be plenty and 4 cherry tomatoes with a cup of green beans for dinner, as far as lowering what im eating, my starting weight is 285 and i know that i need between 1900-2200 according to my bmr not sure if im reading that correctly.
