  • what I ate yesterday, i think i did ok

    1/9/07..... 2nd day of induction


    breakfast: 3 slices bacon
    2 eggs fried in pam

    Lunch: 2 small chicken burgers - 1 cup minced baked chicken (white and dark)
    1 tbls mayo
    2 tsp hot sauce
    1 tsp mrs. dash
    (made into pattys and fried in 2 tbls olive oil)

    1 cup green leaf lettuce,
    1/4 green bell peper,
    1/4 cucumber,
    1 tsp itaillian dressing (3 carbs for 2 tbls)

    Snack: 5 chicken wings (unbreaded w/skin) deep fried in vegetable oil,
    1 tbls hot sauce

    Dinner: 1 can tuna
    tsp. mrs. dash
    1/8 tsp hot pepper flakes
    tbls. mayo
    1 cup green leaf lettuce

    Water: 5 16 oz glasses

    Hey Jessica! Welcome to the board!

    Your menu looks pretty good. Those Chicken burgers I have never seen before and sound awesome! We're you get that idea?

    Have you looked into Fitday? It's a great way to track and log your foods as well as carbs and fat/prot/carb ratios. Best of luck!

      I agree, menu looks good. And yeah, those chicken burgers sound great...dang, now I'm hungry. I am so glad to see that you're eating! People sometimes cut WAY back on food and actually aren't eating enough! Just make sure you're stopping when you're satisfied.

        thanks for the comment, actually I came up with the receipe myself, I really like cooking and am always trying to come up with new receipes...... my boyfriend is always complaining "why cant you just eat normal food, why does everything have to be gormet?" I just like good food.

        I have a tuna burger veriation that is really good too, maybe Ill post them in the receipe section.
