  • Here is a sample 2 day menu

    Breakfast
    bacon, egg & cheese sandwich (minus the muffin)

    Lunch
    a burger wrapped in lettuce, tomato & onion
    1 tbls mayo

    2 hard boiled eggs

    Dinner
    1 can Tuna w/2tbls mayo & onions

    32 oz water

    Breakfast
    onion, cheese omlet (2 eggs, slice cheese, 1/8 onions)
    4 bacon slices

    Lunch
    2 cups salad
    2 tbls vineger & oil dressing

    Dinner
    Prime rib
    1 cup steamed Veggies

    32 oz water
    Roseann

    Glad you posted!

    Ok, the first thing that's glaring at me is that you aren't really eating your veggies (as mom would say)! Your second day was better... watch out for onions...those should be limited. Otherwise, it doesn't look bad. Have you entered this into fitday or used that before? It will help you monitor your carbs, calories, and fat%. Check it out at www.fitday.com

    Oh...and probably more water!!

      Thanks for the fitday info. Looks like it will help. I went shopping again and I am going to try some of the foods I have found on the sight to make meals more interesting. I am not really craving any sweets, I am amazed. Not that I ate alot before but it always seems like when your told you can't that makes the temptation appear. . Thanks again

        Very true!
        I found once I managed to say 'I don't eat that' rather than 'I can't eat that' it became easier to choose the right foods.
        Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
