    Breakfast: 3 fried eggs

    Lunch: 3 slices of deli roast beef, 1 cup of romane & iceburg with 2 tablespoons of italian dressing & 1 ounce of cheddar cheese

    Snack: 3 tablespoons of whipping cream, a packet of artificial sweetner, a sprinkle of sugar free raspberry jello powder. whipped and tasted yum

    Dinner: boneless chicken breast a slice of onion diced, fried in oil with garlic powder, toped with 1 ounce of sharp cheddar cheese, couple pieces of romane with a teaspoon of italian dressing.

    I had 4 glasses of water so far, im going to try to drink the last 4 by the end of the nite. Im addicted to diet coke, I had alot of trouble with that. I got some caffiene free diet coke. I had 1 diet coke, and 2 caffiene free diet cokes.

    Ok, hopefully you know what I'm going to say. You need to eat your veggies! I see only one cup of lettuce and a slice of onion. You should be eating 3 cups of salad veggies OR 2 cups of salad veggies and 1 cup of the other veggies from the acceptable list. I would recommend having the 1 cup of the other veggie as it contains more nutrients and everything. It also doesn't seem like you're eating enough, but I don't know your height/weight/sex...so not too sure. So make some more veggies and you'll be good to go. I'm not going to lecture you on the soda, you already know. Just try to cut it down/out over time. Good work!

      Eat more veggies like Higgies said. My husband is a diet coke addict and he isn't following Atkins. However on his plan he is requred to drink a 2 liter bottle of water a day. He makes himself drink that first before having a diet coke. It has been a few weeks and he still has an occasional diet coke but says that his really craves and wants the water first. He feels cleaner. This was a man that would drink 4 liters of diet coke a day. Plus a ton of water also helps with the withdrawal feeling you get when limiting/stopped use of diet coke.

        Absolutely! The more water you drink, the mor you will crave and be thirsty for water, not soda. It's really quite great!

          thanks everyone!! im pretty poor so Ills I have right now is salad mix and onions for veggies. I will make sure to at least have two cups of salad mix today though, and when I get paid I will get some other veggies. the diet coke thing is hard for me, Im really going to try cut down.

            No problem, N00b, you can have up to 3 cups of the salad veggies if you want, though as Higgies said, adding a cup fo the 'other veggies' list will give you more nutrients that lettuce will. You can have up to a cup of onion slices - I love them fried btw - which would be 8 net carbs according to www.fitday.com

            It would be a good idea to add your gender, height, current weight and goal weight to your signature like many of us do, so people can see at a glance where you are in your Atkins journey and give more relevant advice.

            To do this click on the link 'User CP' then 'Edit Signature' and add it to your signature block. You can also add a picture there or any other info or mantra etc so it appears on all your posts.
