    Breakfast:
    1 Porkchop

    Lunch:
    2 Porkchops

    Dinner:
    1 Porkchop
    2 Boiled Eggs

    Drink.
    Water!

    Okay, everybody keeps saying eat veggies, but isnt the atkins a meat and cheese diet?????

    Nope...Atkins isn't just a meat and cheese diet. I assume you haven't read the book. Take a look at some of the stickies in the Atkins FAQ forum to tell you how to do induction properly.

    Here's a typical menu for me:

    Breakfast:
    3 eggs, scrambled
    4 strips of bacon
    1 oz. American Cheese

    Lunch:
    Chicken Caesar Salad (or something like it) with 2 cups of romaine lettuce, 6-8 oz. Chicken breast, and 2 tbspn of Caesar dressing.

    Snack:
    1 oz. Pepperoni
    1 oz. Cheddar Cheese

    Dinner:
    10-12 oz. Steak, Chicken, or POrk Chops
    1 cup Broccoli or Squash

    Read up and check back!

      Hi - welcome back to ADBB!!

      I noticed your suggested menu is similar to the ones you asked about last time you posted here (June 2006) and so I am pasting one of the replies you were given then to remind you of what was suggested then

      Then you will know your menu is not Atkins. we are to eat 3 cups of low glycemic Atkins induction acceptable veggies a day as a part of our Atkins.

      So you need some veggies some protein and some fat at every meal. Also we eat only enough food to satisfy our hunger at the time we are eating so 2 porkchops with your veggies may be more food then you need for that purpose but only you can tell at the time you are eating how much you need. the beauty of the Atkins plan is if you get hungry again you can eat again as often as you do.
