  • Please review menu - on Induction!

This is what I have eaten so far today. It includes breakfast, a snack and lunch. Am I doing induction correctly? I hope this isn't confusing. Wasn't sure how to post menu and didn't want to list everything one by one.

Not bad, but you might want to try dropping the coffee.

Also, check your ingredients on the jerky...most have some sort of sugar in them.

        Hi Rachel,

Yeah, it is good to avoid caffiene, so go for decaf coffee. Also, I'd recommend no splenda during induction to really give your body the chance to get used to this WOE.

I'd say you need to be eating more calories - at least around 1500, so make sure you use more of your allowance of cheese and cream and add butter and mayo to your veggies. Finally, you can have another cup of salad, if I'm reading you right or some heavier veg like broccoli, spinach, zucchini etc which you body needs for nutrients and fibre.

Let us know how you get on

The menu was only including breakfast and lunch. I usually add brocolli, cabbage, etc to my dinner along with a steak or chicken breast or pork chops.

I think it all looks pretty good, ditto on the splenda. Hey, have you thought about making your own beef jerky? It's pretty easy, fun, and way so much better than the store bought. Number 1 you know exactly whats in it, Number 2, it's not full of preservatives, Number 3, it's just cool to say, yeah I make my own beef jerky.

My brother is a vegetarian, and even he has said when I'm making mine, wow, dude the house smells awesome....that smells really good. It's hard to keep everybody out of it before it is done!

              Good Luck!
