not sure if I am doing this right please review

    Please make sure I am doing this right, I dont want to mess up

    B- 2 hard boiled eggs, deviled with mayo and mustard
    4 slices of canadian bacon
    This should equal 4 carbs

    L- 2 turkey burgers cooked in olive oil, hot sauce
    1 slice of swiss cheese(pkg. says no carbs per 1 slice)
    8 oz asparagus
    This should equal 2 carbs or 3 not sure if I should count the cheese since it said 0 carbs

    Snacks will be pork rinds, pepperoni sticks and 3 oz cheese, 15 black olives, and 1 stalk celery with 1 oz cream cheese---so this should equal 4 carbs

    Dinner will be roast beef lunch meat 5 oz or so, few dill pickles, and broccoli/cauliflower salad with mayo.

    Not sure of carb content in salad

    DOes this sound okay? There may be a little sugar in the brocc salad but not much. Also How any ounces of meat should be eaten per day? I am also not sure if I am counting these carbs right.( I know 3-4 oz cheese and no more than 3-4 eggs, and 3 cups of veggies per day)

    Hi there - Have you looked at www.fitday.com? You can set up an account for free and use that to track your food intake (and other things as well) that will help you keep up with your carbs, fat & protein. I saw elsewhere that you asked about how much meat/protein - that depends on your overall intake - you are aiming for 65% of calories from fat, 30% from protein, and 5 % from carbs - all while limiting your carbs to 20 g per day or less - WHILE still eating your required cups of veggies. It's a balancing act of sorts - but if you use fitday, it will really help you figure out how get that balance out of your foods. I can't tell for sure from your listing if you are getting a proper amount of veggies - remember 2 or 3 cups total - only one from the "other veggies" list during induction. If you aren't sure of the carb content on the brocolli salad, I wouldn't eat it - you say it may have sugar in it - if it does, it may make you have cravings for more carb-laden foods.
    And just curious, but where did you get no more than 3-4 eggs per day?

    Hang in there - it gets easier to figure all this stuff out as you do it. It's great that you are coming here looking for help. If you get your fitday set up, you can make it "public" - that will make it easier for the rest of us to help you and make suggestions. They already have a database of foods in there and you can also enter your own custom foods from labels on the foods you eat. It's a really great tool!

      I finally got that figured out thanks. How do I post my fit day link on here and a ticker at the bottom? Thanks for all your help. I am around the % you gave me for today with 2000 calories. So I guess that is okay?

          Click here and it will take you to the forum where it explains how to add pictures and links and tickers and all that stuff. For the fitday link, if you post a message you can just copy the link into the message or use the little icon above the message area - it looks like a globe with a link of chain on it and copy the link in there. See, I don't explain that well...that's why I gave you the link above! LOL! If your percentages are right, that's great. As for the calories, don't worry so much about those at the moment - as long as you are only eating until satisfied and not full/stuffed - only eating to feed your hunger, then it should be just fine. Once you get your signature in with your start weight, goal weight, gender, age and all that jazz - anytime you have a question, folks will have that info to help answer any questions.
