Atkins Advantge bar (cannot stomach eggs or meat or cheese in the morning)
    Water and all advised supplements

    Lunch

Cheese maybe 1 or 2 ounces or
    Jelly with cream or
    Cold meat

    Any problems?

    Please advise

I see that people say atkins bars are not ok on induction, i buy atkins advantage bars and they say they are allowed for phases 1,2,3,4 induction is phase 1 right? so how does that work.

No carb cordial still counts as sweetner does it?

    Please help, thanks

Apart from the bars, your menu looks good to me... as long as you are eating to satisfy your hunger, no more nor less.

The bars have been known to stall ever so many people. I'd be wary of them, if I were you.
Atkins Nutritionals is a company. They have a vested interest in selling their products., but the truth is that often the ingredients in the bars are not on the induction acceptable foods list. If you stick to "real" foods, you'll probably lose much faster.

Breakfast can be anything you want. You need to lose the "breakfast food" mindset. Leftovers are a boon in the mornings. There's also an induction friendly cereal which is crushed pork rinds (not too many, 'cos of the high sodium) with cream, cinnamon and sweetner. It's really good, though it might not sound so.

Can't advise about the no carb cordial... I can't get that where I live, but I assume you'd have to include it in your daily sweetner allowance.

Hi Kat I responded to your 'Atkins bars on induction?' question in your other post as well as giving some alternative suggestions.

Yes, your cordial counts as one sweetener serving per 8 fluid ounces (237 mls if you are in UK)

Is your jelly (jello in USA) sweetened with one of the 'legal' sweeteners? You might need to make your own using unflavoured gelatine and splenda if you are not able to find splenda-sweetened brands, which are not available in UK as far as I know. (I might be wrongly assuming you are in UK from your use of the word 'jelly' in which case I apologise) Again you need to count the sweetener used as one of your 3 servings of sweetener allowed ain each day.
The rest of your menu looks fine as you say you are sticking to the allowed quantities.

It may just be you are experiencing the usual lull in weightloss while your body tries to figure out what is happening!! Have you read Moochiecat's excellent post called 'Weightloss is not linear' in the Extended Induction forum yet? It might be reassuring to do so now and see you are not alone in your situation.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Hi Elizellen....thanks for the info. i think i will drop the bars. my first two weeks i did so well with the bars, i just ashumed that it would keep going that way. By the way i am from australia, not the UK, so we have jelly here.

what does the average person have for breakfast around induction, i will give those rolls a go and check out the other receipes.

the bars are the only atkins products we get in australia, they are conveinent and taste so nice ha ha ha. Thanks again.

also forgot to say i think i have gone way wrong with the cordial also.... i think that may be my biggest problem also. The first two weeks i had only water the third week i included cordial and this was the week i lost nothing. I was drinking 2 litres of cordial thinking it had no carbs so it was ok. Maybe this was my biggest problem.... what do you think, i will also drop the bars, but at the end of the day i believe that the only thing i did different this week was the cordial? too much sugar...maybe.

i love the diet and hope that it continues to work as well as it did in the first two weeks, thanks again

If you make those tweaks, you'll probably see a speed up in your weight loss. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Bear in mind that it might not be quite as fast as your first two weeks loss was, as at the start of this diet most of us have a big "water loss".

Hang in there and you'll get where you want to go!

Have you checked out the mock danish recipe? They're very easy to whip up! My fiance doesn't like eggs, but she loves those things for breakfast.

I guess we still speak (and spell) the same english even though we are the other side of the world from you!!

I was never a breakfast person before Atkins so found it hard to start but tended to eat a variety of dishes:
ham and cheese rolled up together plus a few cherry tomatoes
a quarter of the 'microwaved flax bread' recipe (recipe in the recipes database - link at the top of the page) cut into a couple of slices and spread with butter and cream cheese or marmite (vegemite)
A couple of Pau's breakfast quiches - recipe in the recipes database - link at the top of the page
leftover meat and veggies from the evening before - I usually cooked extra so ther would be leftovers for snacks or breakfast.

Re: On Induction extended please review menu

Hey there Kat, the Mock danish it really great, I don't tollerate eggs very well in the early morning either, but the mock danish has made eating in the morning quite wonderful! I don't know where I'd be without them. I think your menu looks good. Try going to a website called Fitday.com it is a free site where you can track your foods to keep your carbs totalled daily, as well as seeing the ratio of fat/carbs/protein. The ratios should be 65% fat/ 5% carbs/ 35% protein. This may help you see if there are any hidden carbs in the foods you are eating. There is an option of putting in the nutritional information from foods they don't list so you can see if things (cordial) are what is putting you over your limits. Remember to limit your sweetener to 3 per day. Keep going you are doing great and will get to your goal, the science works as many here can tell you.

after almost 5 months on Atkins and over 63 lbs down! Watch for updates!
