  • can I eat....

Can I eat grocery store rotissire (sp?) chicken?
There is a place here called the Yogert Shop (maybe it's "Stop")...anyway, they have some frozen yogurt that is 5 net carbs per 4 oz, it's called Skinny Minny, anyway, does this seem legal??
What are anyone's thoughts on vienna sausages?

    Okay..that's it for now.

It Depends On What They Put On The Chicken... Make Sure You Know Before You Go Ahead And Eat It...sometimes In There Marinade There Could Be Sugars.....

      Re: can I eat....

I buy and eat rotisserie chickens and turkey breasts quite often. Check the ingredients and look for sugars like frenchfri suggested, and check out the nutritional info. A lot of time the sugar is used in the marinade or the dry rub, but since I don't eat the skin, I don't think it's a big deal. However, if you eat the skin, or are sensitive to these sugars, make sure you count 1g carbs per serving of meat if it's listed as 0g.

What stage of Atkins are you on, thumper?
Yoghurt becomes 'legal' once you are at the dairy level/rung of Ongoing Weight Loss (OWL)

As to the vienna sausages it will depend on the ingredients so check the label or ask to see the pack if it is sold loose.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I eat the rotisserie chickens as well... and vienna sausages (the canned ones, right?). I think they're fine, I keep them as a "just in case" snack (the small cans, since they're really high cal - like, 260cal/4oz).

              Re: can I eat....

I don't know what potted meat is.

Hot dogs usually have fillers, the ones I have are like, 4g/frank I believe. I think Bratwurst is less. These all depend on the brands that you get, somewhat like the sausage thing. You can buy fresh sausage that doesn't have fillers and the like or you can buy ones with. This is why it's so important to read the labels before you purchase things so you know what you're putting in your body and you understand what consequences you could be facing.

I also like the vienna sausages in the can....well not so much like as (I think) I can have....here's the facts off the can
3 sausages per servicn, 2.5 servings per can
150 cal per serving 130 from fat
                total carb 0g
I've thought about the potted meat (if you don't know what it is, you are not missing much) but what the heck would you spread it on???
