this seems SO fat, but i'm guessing it's ok?

  • this seems SO fat, but i'm guessing it's ok?

    i know u can have 1/2 a cup of mushrooms (i use portabellas)

    Well, last week i fried them in butter, and they were DELICIOUS but seemed like such a FAT thing to do. I mean, i could just taste the fat.

    Is that okay??? I was full quicker, amazingly. But havent eaten them since due to worrying i couldnt eat them that way...

    Im not getting as many calories in as i should, i figured this might help if its allowable

    EAT MUSHROOMS COOKED IN FAT. Eat them they are yummy and you are right the extra fat makes you feel full quicker.

      I know isn't it great that you can eat that.. Don't worry after a couple of weeks you will cut back on that much food but its great in the beginning..

        Fat can be your friend! Yes, cook them in fat if that is what you like. Fat is filling and satisfies your appetite. Dr. Atkins says that eating fats helps wtih fat burning and weight loss. It is one of the guilty pleasures of this WOE. Enjoy!

          Even more sinful is to sautee vegetables in olive oil AND butter. Yummy!!!
