  • my menu...help

    this is not everyday but it will give u an idea...and im not sure if i am eating enoug..in 10 days i have lost 11 pounds

    breakfast-cucumber and a few pieces of cheese
    lunch-salad
    dinner-chicken or beff with brussel sprouts or brocolli

    and of course LOTS AND LOTS of water

    and no snacking at all...im not hungry and i litterally have to force myself to eat because i am not completely enjoying the foods i am eating....but i am not giving up
    this is me and my girl(deek deek) before we started atkins.....i started at 202 pounds


    this is me at my goal weight of 150 pounds in october...i have managed to stay between 147-150...i was standing in my old jeans....scary

    Are you hungry? What is on your salad? Is there any meat? and when you say a few pieces of cheese? Is that sliced cheese...?

      im not huingry at all...and i dread when it is time to eat...as for salads its usually just lettuce,cucumbers,green peppers chesse and a lil dressing...

      a few pieces of cheese i meant as in thin slices of brick cheese...

        Sorry I didn't see that it said you weren't hungry...lol I am not an expert...so I will leave it up to the others... Just make sure you aren't eating more then the 3-4 ounces of cheese.. I always try to have protein and a veggie at every meal..which it seems like you are doing...

          You look fine, though i would suggest adding some protein into that salad...


          What are you not enjoying? how about you mix it up a bit? theres plenty of recipes on lindas site www.genaw.com/lowcarb

            I would say that you are certainly not eating enough. I know you're dreading it, but are there any little snack items that you might be able to throw in your mouth between your "meals"? Maybe some more cheese (within the 3-4 oz as mentioned), pork rinds, some sliced meat? I'm just concerned that you're body is going to go into starvation mode and instead of burning fat your body will start using muscle stores. That's not what we want now is it? You need fat and calories to turn your body from burning carbs and sugars for fuel to burning fat.

            I know it's hard as ketosis does make your appetite go down, but try to eat at a very minimum 1200 calories each day and get your fat in too.

              li just wanted to do a lil update...i finally got my appetite back...but now all i am eating is veggies and meat..no salad or eggs...completely sick of them...but in 16 days i have lost 15 pounds so i guess its working...thanks for all your thoughts...
