  • Want to make sure my menu is correct

I wanted to make sure my menu was correct as I have moved to OWL now and am fearful I am going to mess up.

My ACE is 15 to 40 gms of carbs a day, and I keep right to around 22 to 25/day.

Please look over my menu (since yesterday) and let me know if I did the first day of OWL correctly. Thanks!

    Thursday:
Breakfast - 6 oz of pork bacon
    1 cup of egg substitute
    2 oz of mozzarella cheese
    4 carbs total

Lunch - 2 cups of mixed salad greens
    2 tbs of ranch dressing
1 serving of Kraft Cheese squares
    2 slices of deli ham
    5 cherry tomatoes
    7 carbs total

Dinner - TGI Fridays Buffalo Wings (frozen from grocery store)
    1.5 c of zucchini, sauteed w/butter
    14 carbs total

    25 carbs for the day

    Today (Friday)
Breakfast - Atkins Protein bar (didn't have time for breakfast, meetings all morning)
    2 net carbs

Lunch - 2 cups of salad greens
    2 tbs of ranch dressing
    3 cherry tomatoes
    2 slices of deli ham
    6 carbs total

Dinner - I am sure I will have some kind of protein, and 6 asparagus spears.

So that was 1 day on OWL and 1 day on the Induction like I am supposed to do, right?

Thursday looks fine to me. What did you add for your 5 net carbs extra induction veggies?

And did you check the ingredients of your Atkins bar to make sure it only contains induction-legal ingredients?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
