  • Stalled for 3 weeks - help!!

Hi everyone..I lost 8 pounds the first week on induction and I haven't lost a pound since and its been three weeks! I stopped weighing so I wouldn't go crazy over it, but got on the scale today and still nothing! ARGHHH!!! So, here is a sample of my menu for the last couple of days. It's like this pretty much every day. I use fitday and seem to be where I should be.

Breakfast - 2 eggs and slice of cheddar cheese
Lunch - Salad with chicken, cucs, diced onions, Maries blue cheese dressing, parmessan cheese
Snack - Sliced green pepper (about 6-8 slices)
Dinner - mahi mahi, zucchini (sauteed with onions, olive oil, parmesan, garlic)

Breakfast - muffin in a minute
    snack - string cheese
lunch - hamburger patty, green beans
dinner - Hebrew National hot dog with cheese, 5 olives

Breakfast - 2 eggs and slice of cheese
Lunch - tuna on a bed of lettuce
    Dinner - Grilled Chicken, squash
    Snack - cheese

I don't normally do the HN hot dog, just when I'm in a huge hurry. I have had half an avacado on occasion. I have not cheated, except I ate a 2 blackberries fresh off the bush a couple days ago.

I have 25 more pounds to lose and I am drinking at least 72 ounces of water daily.

ANY SUGGESTIONS? Help, I just want to see another pound drop soon.
Oh, my clothes don't seem to be getting much looser either, though I didn't measure. and I exercies about 3 times per week.

    Thanks!!!

I'm sorry you're having it rough. Looks to me like you need to cut back on the cheese. Check your book for cheese limitations. Also, some people have had yeast problems, you might check that out--if you are having yeast problems, that will definitely cause stalls. Also, have you lost any inches?

Sometimes after you lose quite a bit, you hit the Post Induction Stall Syndrome--Some call it PISS. Appropriate because that's the way you feel. It doesn't mean you aren't losing inches and a whooshie can appear at any time.

Hope this makes you feel better, and I'm sure others can help more than me. Good luck, and stick with it, it will move eventually.

Thanks so much for the feedback!. i love my cheese, but I love seeing the pounds drop off more!! so, I'll see what I can do with less or no cheese. I've been looking over at the candida forum too, I may do the spit test in the morning. I don't have a lot of signs, but some (depression, fatigue, non stop headaches, and no loss) Hmmmm....
