  • Day 1 Menu...thanks

    Here's my menu for the day. I weigh and measure everything. I don't just pour on dressing, even if it's legal. I weigh my veggies also. I know that the book measures by the cup. But I feel better doing it this way. I also understood that the book said to get most of your carbs from veggies.


    DAY 1
    breakfast
    3.3 oz canned mushrooms, drained (2.6)
    1 tbsp butter (0)
    2 large eggs (0.
    1 canadian bacon (1)
    big cup of decaf tea (0)
    1 splenda pak (1)

    snack
    pork skins (0)
    2 tbsp kens blue cheese dressing (1)

    lunch
    6.6 oz romaine (2.2)
    3 oz cucumbers (1.2)
    2 oz roma tomato (1.5)
    2.3 oz green peppers (1.9)
    28 g's feta cheese (2)
    greek dressing (0)


    snack
    string cheese (1)


    dinner
    3 wings cooked on the forman with jerk seasoning
    4 oz frozen spinach, thawed, drained then weighed cooked in olive oil (2.7) cooked in 1 tbsp butter (0)


    before bed maybe
    sm cup decaf tea (0)
    1 pk splenda (1)
    2 tbsp heavy cream (0.

    That looks fine Whats in the greek dressing? You look like you're doing really well. Just amke sure there arent any hidden carbs in the decaf coffee....also if you find its hard to lose weight, try cutting out the pork rinds for a few days - these are really salty and can make you retain water (and not lose).

      the greek dressing has soybean oil, cider, vinegar, natural flavor, spices. sugars 0, carbs <1g. pork rinds, i don't eat that often. thanks for checking out my menu.
