  • please review my menu

    Hi all...
so I'm back to working out in the morning..I did 38 minutes on the stationary bike for a total of 9 miles...LOL...
anyway, here is my food question. After I work out (3-5 days a week) I go to the cafeteria and get a mushroom. bacon, cheese omelette, is that okay?? Should I be worried about all the eggs? In general i'm not an egg person but this seems to be working for me right now.

I'm glad. It is kind of my guilty pleasure. I drop the kid off at her mom's, go work out and then sit in the cafeteria and eat one....it's so nice to not have to clean up and for $2.50 a day....well enough said.

I often have omelettes as well as fried and boiled eggs. They are a good food source with 61% fat, 37% protein and 3% carbs.
The only thing to be careful of when on induction is that some people make omelettes with added milk (or even pancake batter which contains flour) which is not induction-legal, so you need to make sure they make yours out of just eggs plus the fillings and no added milk etc.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
