    2 bacon and two fried eggs

    Beef jerky


    2 sausages and scrambled eggs


    I also had so wine mixed with flavored water...I worked out for about 3 hours then hah

    What Atkins phase are you on Kelsey?

    It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      I am restarting induction and i should not have had the wine...so yeah i am working out extra hard now

        You do know that you shouldn't really have flavoured water either, don't you? (dependent on what it is sweetened with)

          ah well i have to have something...there actually is zero of everything in the ones i drink o fat o cals o sodium o carb protein sugar nothing

            Hi Kelsey,

            So where are all the good things you are supposed to eat? Are you satisfied when you eat? Have you read the book? If not, please check out some of the stickies in the FAQ forum. You can get a lot of information about the Induction phase from those posts, but nothing will replace the book.

            During induction you should eat at least every 6 hours, eat until satisfied, and you must eat your vegetables. You can have 3 cups of salad veggies OR 2 cups of salad veggies and 1 cup of other veggies. Check out the stickies in FAQ to find out the difference between salad and other veggies.

            Otherwise, your menu is insufficient and your body may go into starvation mode. First, you're not eating enough. Second, you're not eating your carbs from veggies. Atkins is not a no carbohydrate way of eating. This is a major misconception. Your body does need some carbs, we just want to train it to accept the good carbs, and use fat for fuel instead of carbs. So please check out some of the FAQ and study up on the book if you have it!!
