I don't htink there is any reason to even look at calories until you stop losing or are climbing the higher rungs of the carb ladder. Your doig terrific! I'd say don't fix it if it isn't broken. Smile!

Yes, Everything looks perfect to me Your calories are fine. Your percentages look good. 14 pounds in 6 days is awesome!!

I agree, your menu is absolutely perfect, your percentages are right on. Don't worry about the calories.

Do watch the tartar sauce for hidden sugars!

You impressed me with this menu!

I made the tarter sauce off of Linda's site. It has 1 carb per 2 tbsp. Its really good.

Re: Should my menu be lower in calories?

Thank you. One thing thats really important to me is making sure I have my meals/snacks planned out. When your new, u can assume ur doing it right, but until you've been doing it for a while, u never really know. Im using Fitday to plan my meals so that I can go back at any time and see my previous meals. I try to stick as close to the percentages of fat/carbs/protein as Dr. Atkins recommended. Sometimes the menu I think Im gonna use for that day has to be changed because the percentages are way off.

Re: Should my menu be lower in calories?

Great menu!!! Don't worry about calories at all right now, just make sure that you are eating to satisfy your hunger and that's it.

I think its great that you are planning your menu ahead of time. That makes it very easy to stick to the plan. I've gotten really good at cooking on the weekends and making my lunch and breakfast easy to grab and go. I'm a bit compulsive some might say, becase I mark my containers with exact weights of the food so that punching it into fitday is easy.

You're doing a good job. Keep it up.

Agreed! It looks perfect! As everyone said, calories should not be your concern at this point. Keep up the good work.
