  • 3 days worth of menus-can someone check for me please

    I am scared i am eating to much and to much fatty stuff is it really ok??(i keep hearing its ok but you know i have never walked this way before so its scary)I am on induction this is my 5th day
    I also drink 6 to 8 glasses of fluid a day

    Hi Mashelly,

    Firstly well done for being so thorough and recording everything like this - it is a great start.

    Also, on the worrying about fat thing, I think we have all been there and wondered how it could possibly work - but it really does! As you'll see from this site and your likely own success.

    For your menu a few points:
    - On the first day you have 6 eggs down. This may be a little much in that it can cause trouble with bowel movements, especially whilst your body adapts to this WOL.
    - On that day also, your calories may be a little high. However it is best not to worry too much about calories at this stage. But only eat until you're full.
    - Your menu contains salad and heavier veggies which is great but try and both of these each day. Stick to the DANDR cups - 3 of salad veggies, 1 from the other list.
    - Your % look good
    - Finally, I'm not sure what Carblite chocolate is, but lots of people on this board have found that such foods can cause stalls or gains. Also it can be really useful to totally do away with such treats at first in order to break old habits and really clear your system.
