    Hi Daina

The foods listed are fine and are induction-legal, though do watch that you are not having more than the 3 servings of sweetener including the cheesecake.

You dont seem to be planning enough veggies though - 2 cups of veg from the salad list plus one from the other list is allowed, and we are supposed to get 'most' of our carbs from the veg.

If possible try to spread your veg intake across the day, so maybe some mushrooms or peppers with the breakfast meal?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I was thinking the same thing about your veggies definitly not enough there ........ also wondering about your fat intake? It seems low but hard to tell with out knowing food values. Taking in enough fat initially will really help curb any cravings and food binges. I would maybe try making an omlete for breakfast or a quiche with veggies and real sausage instead of turkey sausage. for lunch have about 1 1/2 cups of salad greens with turkey and cheese. Dinner and your snack looks good!

Instead of having the salmon for dinner ..... I had chicken drumetts, no veggies. I also had some cheese cubs with my breakfast. I made the cheese cake induction friendly ... but I don't really like it. I am going to try the other one that is made with eggs. I am limited on food right now till I get paid. I am working with what I have till I can go shopping. I will try and get more veggies.

        Thursday

Breakfast - Scrambled egg with cheese
        4 slices of turkey bacon
Coffee w/carb free cream and 2 splendids (mabee) i am going to try and go with out the coffee

        Snack
        Tomatoes

        Lunch
        Kale greens and fried turkey

        Dinner
        Salmon with caulfour and cheese

        Snack
        jell-o

Make sure you have some fat with your vegetables, especially if they are a snack on their own and not with meat, so as to keep your blood sugar levels more stable and avoid 'spikes' from the carbs.

Are you eating the chicken skin or peeling it off?

I noticed the jell-o both days. As far as I know pre-made jell-o in USA may well not made with 'legal' sweeteners, so check the ingredients.

Dr Atkins thought that desserts should be an occasional menu item, not a regular one, and didnt 'authorise' jell-o as such but suggested making your own gelatine dessert using unsweetened gelatine with a legal sweetener instead.

I have some sausge patties from Schwanz but I have not eaten them because the ingrediants says that they have sugar but in the nutrient area it does not list carbs or sugar. Do you think it would be safe to eat them. They said the ingrediants are pork, sugar, and salt.

The important sugar to avoid is added sugar which is listed in the ingredients, so I would say not to eat these.

Daione it sounds like your tweeking your menu and doing great! I totally understand the budget restraints and just wanted to let you know your not alone there. I have found somew onderful low cost items at walmart that have really made certain meals for me much easier. Breakfast mainly. They have in the freezer section scrambled egg patties you get 18 of them for 2.87 which is compatible with buying eggs but the cooking is done and they have no added ingrediants. They also have a sausage patty that is perfect as well. Most mornings I take one sausage and two egg patties zap them in the micro with a few onions and peppers and I have an instant breakfast well 2 minutes all legal and affordable!

daione, I think the menu looks good. I still think however that you need more veggies in there, and try to spread them out across the three meals.

And make sure you always have some fat with a veg snack - so add some full fat dressing to the tomatoes!

Be careful on that cheese, you seem to be having quite a lot.

not sure about the bob evans, maybe someone else can help you on that, i checked the website but dont see the ingredients in the sausage.
Is the vegetable soup home made? if not check the ingredients for sugar/flours etc.
I'm also pretty sure (though cant be positive as you havent really given cup amounts that you have gone over on your veggies, there are far wors e things you could do, but still!

Day two - check the ingredients on your turkey bacon for sugar, theyre a bugger for adding it! was the cauliflower cheese homemade? if not, again, ingredients, i know the shop bought ones ive ever seen are bad bad bad!

Is the jello sweetened with aspartame? if so be careful, its a sweetner Dr A warned us against!

                            Thanks Emma,

I checked the Bob Evans bowl and Yah, no added sugar. I don't think Louis Rich has any added sugar to their bacon adn seem to be induction freindly. I am going to get some sausauge today.

My gelatin is sugar free and I am making it at home. The caulflour and cheese is frozen green giant and seem to have no added sugar too it and my soup is homade.

On sausage they add all sorts of stuff, was there any wheat flour, corn syrup, breadcrumbs or should i just say, were all the ingredients legal?

again the cauliflower cheese although they dont add sugar its the other stuff i'm concerned about, flours etc, almost positive that isnt legal.

what is your sugar free gelatin sweetened with?
