  • My menu for 1/4

    Half of an avocado



    Jalapeno Poppers:

    4 ounces of cream cheese

    5 whole Jalapenos

    6 drops of Stevia

    5 pieces of bacon



    Centrum Silver Vitamin



    Lettuce wraps:

    One pound ground beef

    2 cups of lettuce leaves

    Seasoning Salt

    Hot sauce

    Salt

    Chili Powder

    2 Tablespoons of sour cream

    My plan for tomorrow is Deviled Eggs made with just mayo and 5 more Poppers made the same way as today.

    That looks generally fine, with a few things that might be worth checking on.

    Three cups of salad veg or, preferably, two cups of salad veg and one cup of other veg is required during induction, and while theoretically you are getting the salad veg with your lettuce, in practice it is better to eat some of the more nutritious veg on the salad list - lettuce is really just water and fibre.

    Things to be careful of are:

    - bacon - is there sugar in it? You need to check the package.
    - hot sauce - again check for sugar in the ingredients
    - sour cream is limited to one ounce daily during induction

      Thank you Kate 58!!! You must have been watching for my post


      I thought that the jalapenos were concidered my other veggies for the day besides my lettuce so I thought I was stocked up for the day on veggies. We are only allowed to have one cup of other veggies (other than salad) off of the list right? Are jalapenos not that great as far as vitamins go? Which veggies do you think are the best ones to eat so that I am getting the most nutritian that I can?
