  • I think I do something wrong...

... because I've lost 7 pounds in the first 2-3 days (mostly water I suppose), but now I only lose about 0.1 kg per day. I'm glad that my weight goes down and not up, but still... isn't this a very low rate?

I suspect some foods in my menu for this, but I don't remember if I ate them during the first days because I've started a food journal only 2 days ago. Anyway, the "suspects" are the camembert cheese (due to the mould?) and the green tea (no sweetener added though). Did anyone else had problems with these two during induction?

I gave up camembert cheese and also green tea, so I'll see how things go. But if they were not the problem, I think I'm out of ideas.

Btw, I don't drink coffee (nor alcohol) and I exercise about 30 min - 1 h per day.

    Hi
Welcome to our international ADBB family

It is fairly normal to lose a lot of weight in the first few days then to slow down, so it may be that you are doing nothing wrong

Wait till you have completed 14 days of induction then review your results by looking at the chart for metabolic resistance to weight loss in chapter 13 of DANDR to help you decide on your next step.

We are allowed up to 4 ounces (115 grams approx) of cheese and camembert is one of the cheeses allowed. If the green tea is decaffeinated then that is allowed as well - but make sure you are drinking your water in addition to it.

Maybe if you list your complete menu for the last day some of our members might spot something that might need changing but it might be that there is nothing that needs altering.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

      My menu is here: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard....ead.php?t=53998

Today I might have done a small mistake by eating the two sausages, but I realized it a bit too late. All the food is prepared at the university servery, so I'm not sure if there weren't some "hidden" carbs in it.

Also, is spinach a problem during induction? I've heard various answers to this, so I'm not sure if I should avoid it or not.

Thanks a lot for the help!
