  • any help wpuld be great.

    Hey Everyone

I started Atkins early 2004. But in the last year I have gone off track.

I don't measure my food.( yes i know i should start) I will have to start to measure my vegies and lunch time salad

I'm on my 4th day of induction.

    Any help would be great.

    Breakfast
    2 scrambled eggs( in microwave)
with two slices of cheese on the pack it has 0.4g of carbs per serving.

1 decaff coffee with 2 splenda

    Lunch

    I buy my lunch out.

small chicken avocado lettuce salad with mayo.

(Should i measure this salad? how many cups should i eat.)

    snack a slice of cheese

    Dinner

Grilled fish with a ganden salad

    or
Grilled chicken with a slice of cheese and cauliflower and green beans.

i also drink lots of water

    thanks

    Em

Looks pretty good, I would weigh/measure my veggies though. Keep up the great work.

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

I agree, your menu choices look fine

In the beginning I measured out at home what one cup of salad veggies similar to what I could get in a cafe looked like, so I could 'eyeball' just how much was on the plate and so decide how much to eat so as not to exceed the 3 cups of veg allowed in one day on induction.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I agree, your menu looks good. Just make sure your cheese is ok and within the allowed limit. Processed cheese slices here in Italy are full of all sorts of questionables. It may be different where you are, so they may be fine.

All the best on your journey to a slimmer figure and better health!
