That was yesterday, Day 11. I lost 4 pounds in the first 3 or 4 days of induction. Since then, I HAVE BEEN STUCK! How does this look?! I eat a lot, but I am going to eliminate caffeine and soda, and monitor my soda intake! Suggestions? THANKS!

      Some thoughts
Watch the cheese. On induction we are not allowed much. I wonder if the cheese from macdonalds may be especially carby.

You are eating ricotta cheese not really allowed on induction.

Also we are only allowed three sweetner portions a day and you are over that. If you cut out soda that should help.

One bag or pork rinds would really load you up on sodium and you would retain a lot of water. You can eat a few.

You are somewhat low on veggies. You can eat 3 cups of salad types. Seems to more room for veggies in there.

Watch for sugar in your meat items (pepperoni, bacon - it may add up if you are not careful and watch for the salt)

But I think you are doing fairly well. A few tweeks and things will work out better. I had to do those too on induction.

        Re: Stuck! Help!

I agree with Liv... no ricotta, probably some hidden sugars in the processed meats, and definitely high sodium.

Have you read Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution, 2002 edition? If not, I highly recommend you do.

Keep in mind that the scale fluctuates a lot on Atkins... you lost a lot the first week. Your body is probably adjusting to it. Weekly (rather than daily) weigh ins will probably cause you a lot less angst as the scale jumps around quite a bit from day to day (especially with a lot of salt).

        Good look to you!
