    A few observations of my own:

    -There will be no more shakes. It was a low carb slimfast from the grocery store. I realize that altough it is "low carb" that it has so many other things in it, I'm better off without. So that's done.

    -Might have over-did it with the cheese. Will have to watch that in the future.



    Otherwise...is this too many calories? How does it look?

    Hi! Did you use any salad dressing? Also, I found that lunch meat can have sugar in it - dextrose, or another -ose, meaning sugar is there. Check on the package. If it has carbs in meat, there is probably something unfriendly.

      the turkey was smoked turkey from the deli..so i don't have the package or anything.

      the lettuce i used on top of the turkey burgers.

        Ok, wow, you ate two whole cups of lettuce on two turkey burgers? Are you sure?

        Also, Fitday doesn't calculate net carbs, but if you subtract out the fiber for the day, from the total carbs, you will get your net carbs. (I suspect it's not 19.)

        The slices of cheese should have 1 carb per ounce.

        The coffee (if black) should not have any carbs.

        It looks fine to me Maybe someone with more experience can give you more in depth comments.

          I would suggest asking to see the packaging info at the deli to check for sugars in the turkey.

          Your menus look fine to me (apart from the shake which you are intending to drop) except that you are not really getting an awful lot of nutrients if you are having 2 cups of lettuce as 2/3 of your allowed veggies.

          Try choosing some of the other ones on the list to get more 'bang' for your carbs. Perhaps one cup from the 'other list' instead of one of the cups of lettuce?

          Remember Dr Atkins said we should be gettin 'most' of our carbs on induction from our veggies.
