  • I think I may be doing this wrong?

My question for all of you, is what is or was your most favorite receipes for induction? I have read alot of the receipes and posts and have not found a link that shows what your favorites were. I like many others, get sick of meat and eggs and feel that this will be my downfall. I am not much of an eater to begin with, I just have a slow, almost non-exsistant metabolism. I try to eat lots of salad, as I love it, but am not sure what else to eat. I am not much of a cut up and eat vegetables person, althouth I like veges, I don't find it very filling or satisfying. I guess I really need some suggestions. I am supplying what I ate today to have you critique me to make sure I am doing this right. Any advice or receipes is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    Hi Ali

Looking at your menu I can see a few things that might need checking.
The sausage - did you check the ingredients as well as the nutrition info? sometimes sausages are made with fillers like starches which would make them not 'legal'.

Lite Dressing - usually has sugar of some kind added to make it more palatable (taking the fat out can make it taste yukk) On Atkins we can eat fullfat dressings as long as they have no added sugar.

Water - we need to drink 64 ounces of water at a minimum, how large were your glasses?

One rule people often aim for is to drink an extra 8 ounces for every 25 pounds they want to lose, which in your case would mean an extra 32 ounces, making 96 in total.

Diet drinks (if sweetened with a 'legal' sweetener) are ok in addition to your water but we are allowed only 3 servings of sweetener a day, and you already had one with your coffee.

One can of diet drink will usually contain 1.5 servings of sweetener.

    I hope this helps.

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I didnt answer your question about recipes.

We often have a thread called something like 'what's for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the induction forums. Take a look at what people have posted in those and you will get so many ideas you won't be able to decide which to use

        My new favorite recipe
Take a Chicken breast and fry it up til just about done, Put it into a cassarole dish and cover with Salas and Sour Cream and bake for about 20 minutes, then pull it out and cover it with cheddar cheese and put it back in until the cheese is melted and dripping.
OMG its delicious, spicy, creamy, etc
Then I serve this with a green salad but I have been trying some amazing dressing recipes and this has helped get the salad down

        41 pounds down and counting
