  • Please review my menu

    Menu:

    Breakfast: Pancakes which are made up of the following:
    2 egg whites
    2 egg yolks
    2 oz cream cheese

    Lunch
    5 oz trout broiled
    1 cup of boiled broccoli
    1 tsp of butter

    Dinner
    3 oz salmon broiled
    2 cups of cucumber raw
    1 tsp of butter drizzled on my salmon

    Fat 65%
    Protein 32%
    Carbs 3%


    I also would like to add that I drink 3 litres of water daily only nothing else.

      Today after I had my lunch I feel the hunger setting in and plus drinking water doesn't help subside the hunger, it brings on the hunger more I find.

      I had to change my menus around a bit after 1 week of inductuion, because I was eating about 40-45% of protein and was only eating 50-55% of fats.

        The reason I asked is because it didn't look to me like enough food. But, even at goal, I am a large girl (5'10") with a healthy appetite.

        All that being said, don't force yourself to eat more. BUT, if you are hungry, I'd encourage you to eat more. The beauty of Atkins is we don't have to be HUNGRY. Ever.

          By eating more lets say of protein, that means it would up my protein %. Would that not throw me off a bit.

            Yes. But, eat a fatty cut of protein. Or eggs, eggs are almost perfectly 65/5/30

            If you have lean protein, ADD fat to it (butter, oil, etc.)
