You need to eat more than that, or it could backfire. Replacing the cheese with eggs is still the same amount of food basically. You can add the eggs, and not take the cheese away. I agree, totally not enough food. Be careful, you don't want to starve your self. It could drive you to the point where you just grab anything and eat it. Just a suggestion

ranger22 ~ Great job getting those veggies in ! That's one thing that is often missing from newbies' induction menus. Kudos on the water intake too. I hope you're also getting in exercise and supplements. Do you have a copy of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution 2002 (DANDR 2002)?

Are you eating when you're hungry? Dr. Atkins says "I encourage you to eat until you're satisfied. Just don't confuse being satisfied with being stuffed" (p138 DANDR 2002). IMO your calorie counts are not too low. Dr. Atkins also says "Although there is no need to count calories, they do matter" (p143 DANDR 2002). Personally, I count calories and carbs in order to ensure I'm not eating too few calories (under 1200) or too many calories for my weight/activity level. I am a female, currently weigh 229, exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, consume between 1600-2000 calories, have a low metabolic resistance (according to p158 of DANDR 2002), and have a sedentary job. During the first 7 weeks I've lost an average of 2.8 pounds per week. Everyone is different though.

          Best of luck!
