  • I'm back for another review!

    I just like to make sure that I'm not losing focus, guess I like the reassurance that I'm still doing it right.... So, if you don't mind.... Please look at this for me.... THANK YOU!!!!

    Breakfast and Lunch is basically the same everyday.

    B: omelet (3 scrambled eggs, 1 sausage patty, 1 slice of american), coffee

    L: salad - lettuce, sprinkle of mozzarella or american, 4 strips bacon, boneless chicken breast in hot sauce, 2 tbsp ranch. (today I brought a little different variety: lettuce, broccoli, radish, pepperoni, colby-jack cheese, ranch)

    D: varies each day but this has been my week so far:
    Monday: tacos (taco meat, lettuce, cheddar, cheddar shells)
    Tuesday: hamburgers (patty, mayo, pickle, wrapped in lettuce), broccoli
    Wednesday: omelet with the left over broccoli & american

    I haven't been snacking at night but if I do, it'll be cheese & pepperoni or a sugar free popsicle.

    Your menus look fine to me, Mary. Are you still on induction or on OWL?

    With another 30 pounds to lose before you reach goal you need to start climbing the OWL ladder soon so you dont get there without learning your CCLL and testing foods to find if any affect you adversely.

    The only alteration I would make would be to have some of your veg carbs with each meal. I know on induction (3 cups max) this is difficult to do, but on OWL rung 1 you would have more room for manouver!
    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

      I'm still learning how to do OWL.... I'm going to keep reading a little more before I make the move. But I'm aiming for next week.
