  • Menu for day 5

First off, see by my posts I don't know how to count my days.

Br...2 eggs scrambled with 1/2 link knockwurst with 1 slice american chese

    mid morning...1/2 knockwurst link

L.....6 oz canned tuna with 2 tbs mayo and 1 cup shredded lettuce
    4 oz baked chicken breast

    mid pm...10 thin slices pepperoni.

D....5 oz chicken, 1/2 c broccoli floweretts cooked in 2 oz white wine, with 1 1/2 slices american cheese melted over. (excellent) 2 c lettuce with 2 tbs blue cheese dressing.

I realize sometimes my food seems put together strangely. I need to eat breakfast at 4 am..I work 5-10:30 hence the mid morning snack. Today I essentially ate two lunches, one about 11 and the chicken breast at 2:30 before I went back to work. The pm snack helps keep me until dinner which tonight was at 7. It's a long spread from 4 am -7 pm and I either have 2 breakfasts or 2 lunches, depending on the day. But my carbs are within the range.

You need to arrange your meals to fit in with your lifestyle, so if it suits you it is not 'strange'
The only suggestions I would make are
    1. try to have 'some' veg with your first meal if you can, to spread out your veg carbs throughout the day
    2. According to the '3 cups' rule you are eating half a cup above your 2 cups of 'salad veg' plus one cup of 'other veg' or combination of the two alternatives, but as one member used to say 'no-one ever got fat from too much salad veg'
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Elizellen, thanks for the suggestions. Today I did have some carbs at breakfast, I had a piece of the quiche I made that had mushrooms and onions in it. I guess I'll just make sure there are some left over veggies to put in scrambled eggs in the morning. That should do it.
