I should have come here before but I thought sticking to one forum will be fine. I guess each forum deals with particular questions only.

So here is my manu please advice if im doing everything correct

Day 1, 2 and 3 I had the same manu
Day 1> Morning: TWO fried eggs +Water
Lunch :2 chicken kababs with cream cheese (2 large table spoons) + water
Dinner: 3 chicken kababs with cram cheese (2 large table spoons) + water

Day 2: same as day 1

Day 3: same as day 1 but the only difference was that for lunch along with kababs instead of cream cheese Ihad a stable spoon of garlic pickle which was make with indian spices+canola oil+vinegar and garlic cloves

I needed some flavor along with kababs so thats the only thing i found in sauces becoz even ketchup has sugar in it

    Re: day 3

The food you list is all 'legal' but I dont see any vegetables!!

We are supposed to have 3 cups of them, 2-3 from the long list of 'salad veg' and one cup from the 'other list' if we only have 2 cups of the first list.

Well done for leaving the sugary ketchup out of your meals I was amazed at how many foods have sugar added when I started reading labels.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

      Ditto on Elizellen's thoughts.

Good legal foods there, but you really must add those veggies. They are tremendously important for nutrients and for variety.
In induction you get to eat either three cups of salad veggies (preferably including salad veggies other than just lettuce, which isn't very nutrient dense) or two cups of salad veggies and one cup of "other" veggies (mainly cooked things like spinach, asparagus, zucchini etc.)

Thank you everyone, Im gonna add some veggies today.
So today i had scrambled eggs (2 eggs) for breakfast and right now im preparing spinach for lunch...i learned this recipy from a friend...adding heavy cream to spinach and stiring it until desired consistancy is achieved. and ofcourse, adding salt and pepper and other spices (optional).

Ill have the spinach with kabab for dinner.

How do i know if im in ketosis or not? hmmm Because all the symptons are gone...I mean im not having any headaches or sweating..still feeling tired though and craving are there...but am i in ketosis or not?

steak sause (like A1 is pretty low in sugar when measured properly compared to ketchup)
mustard is always a great alternative

Congratulations on trying the veggie! How did it go?

However, you should know that you are supposed to eat two cups of the salad veggies too. Spinach is on the list called "other vegetables" in the Atkins book. That is veggies you are limited to one cup of (while you also eat two cups of salad veggies)

Personally I cannot tell that or whether I am in ketosis. Some people have a taste in their mouth that indicated that they are there. Many people use sticks to measure this. I do not really worry about this as long as I am losing weight.

My problem is, I was never a vegie lover...coming from the culture i belong, we are meat lovers along with rice wheat and beans...so its kinda really hard for me to switch all of a sudden. Im trying though, does cucumber count? hehehe...

but can you answer my other thread on mushroom condensed soup??? please

                Re: day 3

I think that is true for many people. Veggies are often new. I find that I eat lot more veggies now than I ever did. I experiment. Try new things and new recipes and it is worth it.
                Cucumber sure counts!!
Here is a list of what you can eat on induction
