    im finding atkins isnt really for me but ive been pretty good @ sticking to a low carb diet


    heres what i ate today

    1/2 cup of oatmeal 27 carbs

    3 eggs , mushroom spinach scramble
    1 kaft slice 2 carbs

    3grilled chicken tenders

    1 can of tuna on a bed of raw green beans with lemon on top

    1 can of diet orange soda 1 carb ..

    80 oz of water !


    i had one whey isolate protein shake (6 carbs )
    1 apple , 1 nectarine

    what do you guys think ?

    Hi disneydiva21, this is an aproximation of your day in carbs. Hope it helps

    1/2 cup of oatmeal 27 carbs

    3 eggs ,-3.5 carbs

    mushroom-2 carbs

    spinach-2 carbs

    scramble

    1 kaft slice -2 carbs

    3grilled chicken tenders

    1 can of tuna

    on a bed of raw green beans-4.5 carbs

    with lemon on top -2 carbs


    1 can of diet orange soda- 1 carb ..

    80 oz of water !


    i had one whey isolate protein shake (6 carbs )

    1 apple ,- 15.25 carbs

    1 nectarin- 11.78carbs

    total: 81.5 carbs aproximately

        Not sure what you mean by a normal person. If it is a normal person around here - probably less that 80. Although some are lucky and have quite high CCLL. However Atkins is not just about carbs, it is also about staying in ketosis for weightloss which means avoiding high sugar food and you are not doing that with those fruits it looks like. It may be time for you to look for another plan that could more fit what you think you are capable of doing. There are things like South Beach or the Zone that may fit you better. Good luck.

          I think something like 100 net carbs is counted as a 'controlled carb' way of eating rather than a low carb one, but I dont have any references for this.
          Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
