  • Did I fudge my good streak?

    So... working for the State has definitely put a glacial road block in the dieting sector. Potlucks and pastries is what they run on, and I'm having a very hard time with temptation.

    Today, we all went to mongolian bbq buffet, and I think I may have done alright by the good doctor, but I'm wondering if I should only eat meat for the rest of the night.

    I started my day off with a 2 cup lettuce salad, with pepperoni garnish; also downed my first 34 oz of water.

    As for the buffet:

    -Mongolian stir-fry with mostly meat: beef, chicken, bean sprouts, zucchini, green onion, minced garlic, a couple of peanuts - with kung pao sauce

    -6 (ok, 10) foil wrapped chicken

    -Bite of non-breaded kung pao chicken, also bite of broccoli beef, 2 string beans

    -(i know i fudged it here) a slice of watermelon

    - of course with a diet coke that I sipped slowly LOL

    So, it probably looks like chicken or steak with no green beans for me tonight?

    Sorry - I didn't notice this thread on the day you posted it.

    Yes - you were correct, once you have eaten your veg 3 cups (on induction) then choose other foods with no carbs for the rest of the day.

    One good reason for moving to the first OWL rung after the first 14 days

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )
