somethings not right. your totals don't add up to 100%. did you miss a number?

induction percentages should be fat 65%, protein 30% and carbs 5% or very close to those. i wouldn't worry about a point or two off. these are guidelines, not absolutes. Fitday!

Your food choices seem fine to me, though you dont seem to be eating much food!
A good variety of salad veg - well done on not just eating lettuce and you are doing great with your water too
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

That is what I thought as well, Elizellen. I was hoping the drum stick was from a very large bird.

lol well I just can't seem to eat very much. I was really full after supper last night. I actually had cooked two drumsticks for me but ended up eating the second one for lunch today with 1 1/2 oz of cheese, 1 1/2 oz of tomato and a Tbsp of mayo. I have no idea how I am suppose to get my calorie intake up to 1800 for the day..Oh well I am still working out the knots and keep re reading the DANDR 2002 book.

I think the appetite suppression in the beginning can do this. Don't worry about as long you are not starving yourself on purpose. And do remember to eat something at every meal - not leaving it more than 6 waking hours between eating.

Re: My menu for 2nd day of induction

yes I have diabetes so I have to make sure I eat at least 3 meals a day. This cutting out carbs has brought my blood sugar way down so that is fantastic. Where I was once getting 10+(180+) readings I am now down in the 5-7(95-130) stage mostly in the 6's(108-115).
I am definitely not starving and and my %'s were
                F 64%
                P 32%
                carbs 4%

I know the protein was a little high today and I will have to watch that. I kept the cheese to under 3oz and drank 96oz of water today. I also spend half an hour walking in the pool from one side to the other and then did a couple of short laps also from side to side. Too many people in the pool to even think of doing a lap the other way.
The old ticker started giving me a bit of trouble so I knew I had done all I could.
                Feeling good...
