Okay, I know...I need more veggies. But I just don't like having to give up the carbs for my coffee so I can have a cup of broccoli!
Breakfast - 3.5 carbs
1 egg, 1/2 oz cheese, tiny bit of cut up left over porkchop, cup of coffee (1 splenda, heavy cream)
Couldn't eat all the breakfast, ate almost half.
Snack - 3 carbs
1 leaf of green lettuce, thin sliced turkey, 1/2 oz cheese (rolled up)
Lunch - 4 carbs
6 oz tuna, 1 tbsp mayo, 1 egg, bit of diced up dill pickle (NO sugar)
Snack - 0 carbs
1 cup beef bullion ( I know loaded with salt, but really satisfies)
Dinner - 7 carbs
Taco Salad, 2 1/2 cups lettuce, 2 tbsp salsa, ground beef with chili powder, 2 tbsp sour cream, 4 black olives sliced, 1 oz shredded cheese.
Snack - 2 carbs
Coffee, 1 flavored splenda packed, heavy cream
19.5 carbs total
So am I counting my carbs correctly? I'd really love some input so I could make changes for the better. And yes, most days I do try to put more veggies in like peppers in an omelet or something or sliced cucumbers cold.
