  • What I eat...Will it work??

    A normal day for me...

    breakfast
    3 eggs fried in butter, with bacon or sausage

    lunch
    2-3 hamburger patties, mayo, mustard,5-6 hamburger pickles, 3 slices of cheese.

    dinner
    ceaser salad, bacon, parm. cheese. ceaser dressing

    snack
    bbq pork rinds 0 carbs

    atleast 88 oz of water



    Does this sound okay on the induction phase to have me lose weight?

    Your menu looks good.
    As long as you're getting in your required 2 cups of salad veggies and one cup of other veggies (Page 125-126 DANDR) or just 3 cups of salad veggies.
    Keep your cheese at 3-4 ounces a day. (Page 125 DANDR).
    Make sure you check ingrediants on the BQ pork rinds for added sugar. If they contain sugar they're a no no.
    Your water intake looks good also.
    Try to spread your veggies out throughout the day.
    Get into a habit of reading food lables as far as ingrediants for added sugars in all forms. Manufacturers like to sneak in HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) in all kinds of products.

      my favorite meals to eat...

      cornbeef and cabbage...
      grilled chicken topped with bacon, cheese, low carb bbq sauce, melted in oven.
      steamed broccoli with melted butter and salt mixture.
      flax seed wrap bread pizza, with a low carb spaghetti sauce, sausage, ham, peperoni, and moz. cheese.
      chicken breast, flattened with cheese and ham rolled and wrapped around bacon.

      On this diet before I have always concentrated on eating more meat and less veggies. I thought that was how the diet worked.

        Also be careful with the sodium. You seem to be eating a lot of (very) salty things like hamburger patties, bacon, sausages, pork rinds... Too much sodium can stall some people (because of water retention).
