Re: How does my menu look?
How are you doing on it? Are you losing? If you are I would not worry that much about anything.
I mean there are a couple of things that could be tweaked if you are not seeing a loss. Like you are eating a bit more protein than fat. So some fat could be added here and there. With your veggies preferably
Some days you go over your cheese limit of 4 oz
And you eat more than your allowed limit of 3 sweeteners. You eat a lot of aspartame that may be a staller for many (and in my opinion you may want to think about what this chemical can do to your body)
But it is often Your Milage May Vary thing with most of this

are you on induction?
if so, you have about 5 cups of veggies on there, when you should have 2-3. My recommendation would be to cut out the 2 cups of lettuce, and replace them with a higher carb more nutrient rich veggie and less of it. Like .5 cup of bell peppers, and then cut your cauliflower back to 1 cup.
Also, your percentages should look a little more like 65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs. So you'll need to eat a little less protein and a little more fat. It's pretty easy to do, maybe make cauliflower mashed potatoes and put butter/sour cream on them. Or mix some mayo in with your ranch dressing. Then cut your egg intake back to 2-3. This should help balance things out a little.
Also, I would recommend cutting out the Jello and the Crystal light. Crystal light is made with aspartame, which is a sweetener not allowed on atkins. We're only allowed sucralose or splenda. Not to mention if you google "crystal light health risks" you'll get back some interesting results.
The jello might be ok if you really feel that you need it AND it is made with splenda. Again, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you do eat it, we're allowed 2-3 packets of splenda a day, and each one should be counted as a carb.
Your calories are pretty low, but by upping your fat, and decreasing your protein, that will balance out because fat has 9 calories per gram, and protein only has 4.
Good luck to you!

Re: How does my menu look?
The first week I lost 10lbs. I don't know how my second week is going (I hear it's usually slower than the first) I try not to weigh more than twice a week. I started on a Monday...weigh on Friday and then on Monday again.
I have slowed down a lot on the cheese. I try not to use it too much unless I am starving for a snack. I know the jello/crystal light is bad, but it takes an edge off when I am looking for something sweet. I usually hate most sugar-free stuff but these are the two things I can stand.
I started exersizing this week in the hopes of avoiding a second week stall. I hope it works!

Re: How does my menu look?
Congrats on your success so far! You are doing really well!
I agree (for the most part) with what liv and carbless said. I can totally relate to wanting to have something sweet. However...you'd be surprised at how the cravings (yes, that's what they are even if it's not real sugar) disappear when you completely cut out artificial sweeteners. When I first started in Feb '08 there's no way I could fathom not having something sweet, but when I restarted in Dec '08 I went for awhile without having sweeteners and it felt great. I do have some now, but not nearly as much/often as I used to. It's something to consider...
Keep up the good work!

Lol, I actually didn't finish my salad today, so I guess I should have fixed my fitday to match. The cauliflower I will be having tonight will be mashed with some butter...but I put 1.5 cups because I didn't know the appropriate way to measure them...before or after mashing.
Thanks for the advice! I will put it all to good use.
