4 Days no Weight Loss, Review my Menu please

  • 4 Days no Weight Loss, Review my Menu please

    First, I must tell you I have been on this plan for 4 days... During which time I have had my TOM and have gone from having 6 pops daily to 1. I will be pop free very soon! But it's been a process!! And I'm in a bit of a fog.

    Breakfast:
    4 slices of bacon and tossed green salad with cheese and green onions, and water 2 cups

    Snack: Water with Emergen-C (2 Cups)

    At lunch:
    Ground beef with green peppers in it, I actually added it to some chicken broth and made a soup out of it. Water 2 cups

    Cheat: 1 can pepsi (eventually I will break free but it is down from 6 cans a day!!)

    Snack: Water with Emergen-C 2 cups

    Dinner: 4 slices ham, 2 slices of cheese, water 2 cups
    And I tried making the recipe I found for flax chips but they didn't cook right!! lol So a couple of bites of flax (flax chips: flax meal and water, make thin paste, nuke for 3 min on oven paper)

    Here is what I wrote in your introduction post. Good job trying to find out how you can improve btw. It will work for you!!!

    You cannot drink that much sugar and thinking the diet will work. You have to get with the programme. Do your self a favour and read (or re read) the book. It is a great source and great encouragement can be found in it.

    Here are some stickies to check our in the mean time

    What are the Rules of Induction?

    What foods can be eaten on Induction?

    We are supposed to drink at least 64 oz of clean pure water.


    Are you taking your supplements? Look for sugar free ones.

    You can do it. Just need to change a few things. Sugar is absolutely not allowed so read labels carefully. Also it looks like you are not eating your 3 cups of vegetables.

      You "cheat" every day and you don't understand? You do also realize that Emergen-C has sugar in it? And I'm not even sure what a "pop" is.

            OMG I didn't think to look at the carbs in Emergen-C!! I have read the book and have been eating all the vegetables allowed for this stage. Yes I have had a soda (pop) but only because I was not able to go cold turkey and function at my job. That should be gone by Monday latest! Maybe at that point I can start the induction period over. I will stop Emergen-C immediately!! Wow! Better go read the label!!

              I worded it as cheat but I am very proud of the fact that in 4 days I went from years of 6 cans of pop to 1!!

                I have found sample menus that will help a lot. I know I wasn't putting enough fat in my diet so will try that as well.

                  That pop better be diet pop or the rest is pretty meaningless.
                  Good job on cutting down for sure. Keep drinking clean water. Lots of it. And adding fat and veggies is the way to go.
