Ooo, no, those bars are a no-no for induction. Net carbs, unfortunely is more of a marketing scam trying to get by with that in confusing metabolic terms. Carbs take energy to break down in the body, some more than others, such that the net energy gained from the injested carbohydrate food is less than that eaten. Well, to one extent or another that is true with all foods - it takes a certain amount of chemical energy to generate the enzymes of digestion, Krebs cycle, Embden-Meyerhoff pathway, and so forth in the production of ATP in the mitochondria, protein synthesis, and anything else in the digest and re-assemble processes of life. This is all a given and it is not a fair comparision to talk of Net carbs when dealing with the effects of injested carbs - the food that passes your lips is the only food that counts. The absolute caloric breakdown plus the glycemic index of said foods is what matters when one is counting carbs. The bars are Ok as part of a plan later but ditch the idea of net anything.

You didn't do too bad . I think you learned what one of the first things to be learned: Plan, plan and plan. Always have food on hand. Those bars may do in an emergency but don't expect to lose weight on them. I think I never went anywhere without boiled eggs in induction.
        Breakfast was pretty good.
        Lunch well....
Supper you probably needed a bit more fat with it.
Also you need to do your 3 cups of veggies.
Drink plenty of water. Always carry a water bottle and take your supplements.
I say just a bit of adjustment.

As Liv said, if you can plan and have something better on hand it will make your life so much easier and less stressful

On induction I often made mini crustless quiches in muffin tins to be able to pack a few and take them with me. I usually included some cooked veggies in them to help spread my veggies across the day.

Another good snack if you have not planned to eat cheese in other meals is to make cheese 'crisps' by microwaving or baking small piles of grated cheese or chunks of block cheese till bubbly and hardened. They last well in an airtight container so I used to keep a stash in the car for those unexpected trips.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
