Soy sauce.......help req !

Hi all,

this may be a silly question, does anyone know the carb content of soy sauce ? Is it ok to use ?

No info on the bottle..!

Carbs in Soy Sauce

Looks like 1.4 g in a T.

Watch out for all of that sodium! It will make you retain water. Mmhm. Learned my lesson last week.

ccording to their website the Kikkoman brand of soy sauce contains

soybeans, wheat, water and salt.

so really not an induction-friendly item if you are being strict according to the rules as it contains rung 6 and rung 9 ingredients.

'Blue Dragon' soy sauce (150ml bottle)....

40g of carbs per 100ml...

not really induction friendly !!!!

You can legally substitute fish sauce for soy sauce. It's not quite the same, but it works in some recipes.
