induction day 2!feel like its all wrong!!

  • induction day 2!feel like its all wrong!!

    hi guys!
    i dont know whether im paranoid but i feel like im doing things all wrong,and im scared im eating things that have hidden carbs in them !

    i know its only day 3 now but im so scared i might screw up this hard work!

    im usually a carb-a-holic,and before this diet i neva ate meat what so ever,rarely ate cheese either!so i am finding this really hard

    day1.
    breakfast:
    2 sausages
    2 pieces of bacon
    1 scrambles egg sprinkled with cheese.
    lunch:
    Because of a mess up with work hours i didn take anything with me.so i ended up grabbing a atkins advantage bar(i now know this was wrong so wont be doing this again!!!!)
    dinner:
    chicken breast with 1 cup of lettuce and 1 hardboiled egg and 2tsps of mayo.


    day 2.
    breakfast;scrambled egg,made from 2 medium sized eggs,2 tsps of full fat cream sprinkled with cheese,i also had 2 sausages,2 tbsps of mayo and 2 slices of bacon.
    lunch;tuna with 1 tbsp of mayo, a cup of lettuce and a small block of cheese
    dinner:i bought a large tray of chicken pieces with 3 tbsps of garlic mayo on top from the chip shop (didnt have time to cook,with a cup of lettuce!


    its day 3 and for breakfast iv had scrambled egg(2) with cream(2tbsps) and cheese.2 slices of bacon and one small sausage.


    please give me an honest kick up the backside if im doing it all wrong x

    You are not doing it all wrong. Take a deep breath. It looks pretty good.

    I just have a few thoughts:

    *You need to eat some more veggies. Lettuce is basically green water - it has very few nutrients or anything so start choosing veggies that are more substantial than that. All together you need 3 cups of veggies.

    *Make sure that you do not go over your cheese limit of 3-4 oz of cheese

    *Read labels of everything. Look for sugar. There may be some in the things you are eating because you are relying a bit of processed stuff here. But if the lables on you sausages, bacon and chicken are good well then you are good.

    Drink plenty of water every day
    Take your supplements every day

    Just adding in case you had not seen it a link to a post by Brook where she talks about how she pre prepares stuff on Atkins. It is pretty cool

      I second Liv's thoughts. EAT SOME VEGGIES!! Do you have the list of veggies found in Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution? Here is a link~~
